Testosterone is an important part of the biological aspect of masculinity. It has much to do with aggression and affects much of the decisions males make. However, testosterone does not completely dictate the behavior of men. Society and culture are the primary factors that determine male behavior.

According to the article, aggression is not simply a function of testosterone, such that more testosterone always equals more aggression. Social factors play an important role in male behavior.
